About: Wout holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences with a specialisation in Systems Biology. He has started his PhD journey in 2026 focused on solubilising membrane proteins - a project co-hosted by the Bio2Byte lab and Puxano, and funded through a Baekeland mandate awarded by VLAIO.
